CG Universe Fututistic Resort Matte Painting Challenge (1st place)
Here's a breakdown of the matte painting did for CGuniverse.net matte painting challenge:
Quick 15 mins sketch made in Photoshop with a rough clay render of the foregrond room in 3DS Max
Beauty pass added to the sketch
The base image's resolution wasn't high enough so I used stock photo to recapture the orginal idea. Added passes from 3DS Max (AO, specular), buildings and foreground plants and water effect (particles would've been great but time was of the essence).
And here's the final results with the added filters

Weltall-ID from Xenogears (PS1 game, 1998)
After playing Xenogears again recently, I wanted to give a fresh look to one of the robot in the game. While remaining true to the orinigal design, I tried to give it my own personal twist. Modeled in 3DS Max, rendrered in Keyshot and post production in Photoshop.

Here's some of my work
This is an image I submited for a competition over on cgchannel.com. The theme was District 9. It was made with Photoshop and Softimage XSI.
This one too was for a competition on cgchannel.com. The theme was King Kong and it was made using Photoshop, XSI and Vue.
This is my concept for a competion on mattepainting.org set up by MPC but unfortunatly I never had time to complete it.
This is the final image of a concept I made. I wanted to create a floating island that had the form of a huge hand and carried by a shrimp-like magical creature.
Photoshop and XSI were used.
